Roque River Trail - Trip Report (2006)

Rogue River is in Southern Oregon and Rogue River trail runs along the ‘wild’ section from just east of Grants Pass at the Grave Creek trailhead to Illahe, a span of 40 miles. For those interested in a river trail that you can crank out the miles, this is it. There are several sections of trail that run along freshly fixed trail cut into slides with only a few inches of foot holds, so sure-footedness is needed.
