ContainsImages Enchantments Traverse - 10/10/09

This is a semi-annual trek some friends and I take to do a bit of leaf peeping - Washington Cascades style. The larch tree is a deciduous conifer that turns from bright green (spring) to deep green (summer) to gold in the fall.

Since the Enchantments is a sensitive high use area, permits for overnight stays are regulated by a lottery. We haven't been successful with the lottery so we do the traverse as a day hike.
