Broken Island Group, British Columbia

We spent a week last summer paddling the Broken Island Group off the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. The island group is part of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and, despite being adjacent to the open Pacific, the waters around the islands are quite calm and provide interesting paddling and island exploration. Wildlife is abundant - we saw humpback whales, stellar sea lions, california sea lions, seals, various birds, and myriad tidal sea life.
