Cooking Under Your Shelter

I am curious of how you would cook in a shelter with a cannister stove. I have a tent that i would like to cook in but i am too scared of burning my tent down. Has anybody cooked under a vestibule? What is a safe distance you need to keep your stove away before melting your tent? NOTE: The remainder of this post can be read by logging in. For free PBF membership click here

Cooking and rodents

It's tempting to cook inside the tent when it's raining hard. NOTE: The remainder of this post can be read by logging in. For free PBF membership click here

I have never used a cannister stove...

Some mornings these days I will cook up my coffee and instant eats in the half opened vestibule,
