Hike Your Own Hike (HYOH)

I was recently discussing the Hike Your Own Hike (HYOH) concept with a good friend. And I felt that some of what I was sharing may be of interest to fellow PBF members.

I've heard hikers use the concept-phrase HYOH as something they normally direct to others: ranging from a good admonition for others to do things their own way all the way to the other end of the spectum using the saying as a stealthy way of flipping someone off (or putting them in their place).
