Preliminary John Muir Trail Gear List

I'm such a lurker on this website. I guess it's time I make my presence known so I can harness all these knowledge into my current gear list.

In any case, I lost my JMT thru-hike partner but I've decided to go anyway. (I've taken the time off and got the permit so I'm halfway already on the trail.) My permit is from August 22nd-Sept.17th. (I might end up finishing 2 days earlier... but I plan to take my time and take a couple of side trips into towns for resupply and exploring NOTE: The remainder of this post can be read by logging in.
