Softshell (Marmot Gravity and The North Face Apex Bionic) Question

With cooler weather right around the corner, I'm thinking of picking up a soft shell jacket for fall hiking/winter snowshoeing. Hopefully this decision won't break the bank. I have my eye on the Marmot Gravity and the North Face Apex Bionic. Wanted to get an opinion from the forum as to which is better...fit, function, durability, pros/cons. Thanks for any input you may have.
