Bridge Hammocks

I'm new to the forum. While I'm not new to backpacking I have had a sudden resurgence into the sport/hobby/style of camping. Normally I sleep in a tent on a 3" air pad, this has worked well but I'd like to find a some what lighter setup. However Hammock, normal hammocks don't work well for me thanks to a combat injury. I was introduced to bridge hammocks. Im working on designing then building one. I did a quick search form them here and couldn't find anything. Im just wondering if anyone has any, built any?

I'm looking into buying a bridge hammock ... to me it's worth the money to save the experimentation and hassle

People seam to really like the new Ridge Runner from Warbonnet.

As for making one I know there are some patterns running around, I know a few people who have made one.
