Unrelated Shots

Below is a shot from the Rosewood Lake trailhead, looking South. This is
hwy 108 (Mono Way) about 23 miles East of Sonora Pass, where the PCT
crosses. Not an exceptional shot, but like many scenes, the simple beauty
is often difficult to capture with technology. At least with my limited skills.

Below is a shot of potential interest to anyone not familiar with typical South Louisiana scenery. The area is within the Atchafalaya Basin Hardwoods Swamp. The shot is of the everpresent Red Cypress trees, overhanging the waters edge, replete with spanish moss and duckweed lapping up around the
(knees) surrounding their base. The immediate area is just East of Stephensville, LA looking Northeast toward Fourmile Bayou. Taken with a Canon Powershot A620.
