Paddling the Coast of Baja, Mexico

I recently spent a week paddling along the eastern coastline of Baja, just south of Loreto, Mexico. We paddled between the shore of the mainland penninsula to various islands in the Bahia de Loreto Parque Nacional, a collection of protected volcanic islands in the Gulf of California (nee Sea of Cortez).

The paddling was terrific. The sealife was outstanding (we saw gray whales, dolphins, manta rays, hundreds of different kinds of fish, lobsters, giant scallops, sea stars, a NOTE: The remainder of this post can be read by logging in. For free PBF membership click here
