I sit\lay near the tent and listen to the wildlife, wind, rain. Hone up on survival tactics and knowledge. No time constraints, no immediate family so nobody knows where I am or for how long. Could be days, months. It's nice to have the solitude.

Most of my car camping is with friends and or family, So sitting around catching up or just having a drink with them is fun. I always find time to teach my kids a new survival skill like last year we built a very nice shelter that someone or something may enjoy at some point
