First (real and almost complete) gear list

Happy National Trails Day!

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to join the Milwaukee/Waukesha chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance for a short ~4 mile hike. I used this opportunity to load up my pack as if it were a ~1.5 day trek, and give it a go.

My pack wighted in at a little over 30 lbs, including food and water. I'm still missing a few incidentals, and some items will surely get swapped out for "travel sized" items at best. listed weights are in grams

The only major points i still want to address would be clothes (i have some REI pants as well as hand-knit socks from my lady those are nice!) and food. I collected some "random food" to simulate about a day and a half's work, not expecting to cook on the trail (but i did anyways back at the packing lot)
