Here is a picture of the Peter Iredale when it first wrecked. The picture was taken by a professional photographer located in Astoria. According to what I have been told the man in the wagon was my great great grandfather David Halferty. My great aunt osa was also somewhere in the picture, but according to her you needed to know where to look. When I scanned the image and blew it up there are a number of people on the boat itself, and one is a young child so I'am thinking that could be her.
The crew stayed at my great great grandmothers hotel in Warrenton after the wreck. Osa had one of the original prints of this picture unfortunately in her later years she took it somewhere to be copied and someone there thought it was to good to pass up, and absconded with it.
