My first DIY hammock
I've been wanted a netless hammock since I already have the Hennessy A-sym Backpacker with attached netting for bug season. So I decided to make one.
I could have made a lighter hammock, but I wanted to try my hand at what I call a “comfort” hammock. Extras that make it heavier: It’s wider and has tie-outs to lay flatter on a diagonal. It’s double-layered to hold a pad in-between. It has more webbing for the cinch buckle support, which is quick and easy to adjust.
