What do you wear in your sleeping bag?

What do you wear in your sleeping bag? This question is obviously season-specific (...), so please post the conditions/season that you wear the items.

By the way, this question goes over much better in a forum than it does when asked in camp.

Silkweight Patagonia boxers all 4 seasons. Once in awhile depending on condition I'll leave my winter long caplienes on but not usually. And I gotta be really freezing to wear a shirt or socks, which since converting to Western Mountaineering bags just doesn't happen!!

For most 3-season nights, I just sleep in my boxers. If things get chilly, I usually put a liner beanie on, and if things get really chilly, I'll put some unworn wool socks and long underwear (usually silkweight) on.

4-season nights, I'm in midweight long underwear, with a beanie and unworn wool socks.

'Course, this changes with different sleeping bags as Ohio mentioned...

In winter, just my long underwear (from Cabela's) and a skull cap. In summer, usually just a T-shirt and boxers. I keep a hat nearby if it gets chilly.

REI lightweight long underwear (top and bottoms) for summer, the midweight version for spring and fall, and usually that with a 100 wt fleece top for winter.

Just about anything

On average, I'm a cold sleeper, but my thermostat varies wildly with hydration, calorie intake, fatigue, humidity, and the phase of the moon. Regardless of temperature, my most common sleepwear is lightweight Capilene (or equivalent) or the clothes I hiked in. I may also wear a balaclava and gloves, and mostly regulate temperature by varying how much of me is in or under the bag. I've also worn a Patagonia Micropuff Jacket and MH Transition pants when I felt especially cold.

Hat, long sleeve tee in winter, tank top in summer, light weight thermal bottoms year round, and in off season, SD down socks, and year round usually wool socks, except if it is over 70* at night.

Boxers, and a fleece hat if it's below 60 (I keep my hair less than 1/16" long).

Silk in all seasons...lightweight in summer, heavyweight in winter, midweight in spring and fall...I have long-sleeved crew and bottoms in all 3 weights. I have a short-sleeved and sleeveless T in lightweight silk and I have a mock turtleneck that I believe is middleweight. I also have silk knee length and short boxers. I usually have at least 2 bottoms and 4 tops with me on every hike and layer them as required. All my silk comes from Wintersilks.

It lasts a long time, dries quickly, doesn't stink, breathes beautifully, layers well and handles various temperature variations superbly...I've been buying the stuff slowly over the years when it's been on sale...

PJs
What else would any self respectin man wear to bed in strange terrain !
I used to sleep in the nude(gasp!) or a pair of briefs in the summer, switching to a pair of mid-weight top and bottoms for winter(always a struggle to get into them) but I received a pair of poly PJs for a Christmas present and find them to be the cat's meow for BP.
They are fairly light(11oz), very compact, slip on very easily and quickly and I don't have to use a liner to keep my bag clean now.
I use them in the winter as well, as I just shift to my winter bag.

Now, if I get caught outside of my tent, on a 'midnight run', .... I'm stylin!

Funny, I don't wear PJs at home.
